My application has been approved. When will I receive my rebate check?

Effective November 8, 2023, CVRP is closed to new applications.

Applications submitted on or after September 6, 2023, were placed on a standby list. For more information, view the standby list FAQ. If you missed out on CVRP, several EV incentives are still available.

Rebate checks are typically sent within 90 days of your application approval date. You will receive an email confirmation when your check is sent. Mailing delays beyond normal processing times may occur.

Low- and Moderate- Income individuals that are approved for the increased rebate for a PHEV or BEV will also receive a $2,000 “CVRP EV Charge Card” that will be mailed separately to consumers by a third-party card provider.

Important: Any applications received during the standby list period are not guaranteed to receive a rebate. Please see the “What does the standby list mean for me” FAQ for more information.
