This project report provides a detail of what I found out about the employee records management system that exists at UCU and provides a theoretic layout of the electronic system that I designed at the end of the project. The content of this report are summarized in various chapters; Chapter 1 provides the introduction of the topic that is the employees’ record management system and the background of the case study, Uganda Christian University. Chapter 2 seeks to give the various authors’ study about the same topic. Chapter3 states the research design and methodology that was used in my study. Chapter 4 clearly explains the system analysis and design Chapter 5 shows how the system design was implemented and the screen shots of the system’s major functionalities. Chapter6 contains the conclusions and recommendations about the same project In the appendices included area samples of research instrument, the requisition letter for research.

Employee management system software is a user friendly package that gives one the fit to accurately monitor employees' records effortless. it consists of functionally related application program and database, The choice of the programming tools is individual the goal of this Research was to design and develop an employee management system this system was developed to fill existing gaps in the electronic management of employees. This software is designed for stand-alone windows environment, but has the ability to be networked. The interface is PHP with the structured query language (SQL). The implementation of the system will provide speedy retrieval of data as well as enhancing effective and efficient data.

Record keeping is one of the most hard and vital tasks carryout in every organization and institution. Most of the Nigerian institutions use manual record in keeping the history (record) of their staff. This practice faces a lot of challenges ranging from human to natural disaster. To minimize the risk of data loss and security breach a new system was proposed for Waziru Umar Federal Polytechnic (WUFP) Birnin Kebbi to replace the existing one. In this paper observation, interview and questionnaire were used to obtain the required information needed to implement a new system. Lastly the paper presents a prototype developed using Php scripting language at application layer and MySQL database as backend server. The findings of the study show significant improvement in terms of efficiency and cost of resources in managing staff record of Waziru Umar Federal Polytechnic.

The application of an electronic records management system base-Bank Indonesia-Records Management System (BI-RMS)-is expected to have a positive influence on employee performance. The purpose of this research is to learn from the use of an electronic archive management system regarding the work mechanism of employees at the KPw Bank Indonesia, West Java Province. The research method uses quantitative research methods. The focus of research on the use of an electronic archive management system is being applied. This study uses data analysis methods such as interviews and documentation, as well as data analysis methods using descriptive analysis methods. Based on the results of research, the use of electronic records management systems can increase employee performance.
